We were like "Can we talk about the fact that Derek is injured on this, and that Scott is in the background despite being the most important character of the entire series? It's as if the directors were trying to tell us that their relationship is even more important than who they are. Derek may be in Scott's pack, and he may be a Beta, but he's still the mentor and will always try to protect his Alpha/protégé/packmate/little brother/anything you want as long as it's important, even if it means he gets hurt himself.
